Many of us are guilty of complaining about or feeling unsatisfied with our lives, even if we’re perfectly healthy.
I do this more than I’d like to admit, but when I see how happy some people with disabilities are, it really puts things in perspective. This is especially true when it comes to these cuties.
Six-year-old Maddy and two-year-old Briella are from Sydney, Australia, and they both have a rare form of dwarfism called diastrophic dysplasia. This condition has affected their bone and cartilage development, which has given them scoliosis. They also have to wear neck braces and use walkers because of their joint issues and short limbs. But despite all of the difficulties that they live with, these little girls are adorably upbeat.
When special education teacher Christopher Ulmer asked them about their lives for Special Books by Special Kids, Maddy gave some pretty adorable answers.
Aren’t they just the cutest? Their sweet little voices could put a smile on anyone’s face.
