‘Fifty Shades’ was initially intended to be a trilogy, but E. L. James released a fourth book from Christian Grey’s POV in 2015. I’d like to say itwas because she was running out of money, but I can’t imagine she’ll ever have that problem.
The first book in the series topped best seller lists across the world, and sold over 125 million copies. As of June 2015, author E L James was worth 37 million, including the 3.8million ($5 million) she got for selling the movie rights to herseries.
The ‘Fifty Shades’ author even made it onto The Times’ ‘100 Most Influential People’ list of 2012, and where did it all start? James’ latest novel, a remake of the second book in the trilogy, Fifty Shades Darker, from
Edward Christian’s perspective is due to be released at some point in 2017.
But until then, E L James has released a snippet from the new book to honour fictional character Ana’s birthday:
And we’re due a trailer for the second film in the series, Fifty Shades Darker, any day now – and the film itself will be in cinemas by February 2017. How can we possibly contain our excitement?
